West Nepal Development Trust (WNDT) is a service-oriented social organization which was established in 2013. It is recognized by the Government of Nepal and is affiliated to Social Welfare Council. The office of this organization is situated in Butwal-10, Rupandehi. WNDT has been working in the field of health, environment, tourism and education since its inception. It has provided help to many people like fire victims, flood victims, earthquake victims, etc. The organization has been helping poor children who do not get the opportunity to go to school because of poverty. It has provided help to the orphans, destitutes and handicapped. Moreover, it provides service to the people who are the victim of natural disaster. The organization worked its best to overcome the catastrophe that was caused by the dreadful earthquake that occured on 25th April, 2015. Millions of Nepalese people were affected by the hit of earthquake and its repeated aftershocks. Thousands of people lost their lives and millions have been homeless. The organization rushed to manage immediate help for the earthquake victims who were in lack of food, drinking water, tents, medicines, clothes, etc. in the mostly affected area like Kathmandu, Lamjung, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Dhading, Kavre, etc. WNDT honestly extends its helping hands in humanitarian service. Service to mankind is service to God. Keeping this view in the mind, WNDT works in the service of needy people. WNDT believes that many hands together can make great contributions.
